TOIT's always been on my Must-Visit List but after a lot of procrastination, I finally did go one fine Sunday at about the right time before the place got packed. In the process, I managed to click quite some pictures of the place in peace. So don't be surprised if you find that the pictures are exceed the write-up here! :D

THE RANOOSH
Just realized how hard it is to write about a place you visited quite a while ago when your taste buds are still tingling with the immense variety of food you’ve had after that. Anyway, The Ranoosh was quite a different experience in itself, serving Lebanese/ Mediterranean food in Bangalore! Situated in KH Road, Shantinagar, it is a very good restaurant with excellent service.

SPAGHETTI KITCHEN
Diagonally opposite to the Forum Mall, nestled in the heart of Koramangala, this is one restaurant you just cant miss, especially at night. Above a restaurant called Punjabi Grill by Jiggs Kalra, which is another place to be for fans of North Indian food and good ambience, this restaurant has another branch in Indiranagar too. Bill Marchetti, the Italian Chef for Spaghetti kitchen, brings Italy’s enticing variety of distinctive flavours into its repertoire of
dishes, with a focus on authenticity.

T.G.I.FRIDAY (TGIF)
As I stepped into the new TGIF in Bangalore (after the old one at Carlton Towers had burnt down), I had a hunch this place would be so much better than the old one. And boy, was I right! A very different setup with seating as well as a hint of a dance floor on the top, with a live band performing over the weekends. Unfortunately, haven't had the chance to watch them play yet.

TOUCHE DINER, Bangalore
First of its kind in India, this sexy new place in Bangalore is the place to be, if you are looking for some sleek, black decor and a new take on infotainment! A revolutionary concept indeed, with its touch screen menu that comprises much more than just food and drinks. My friend and I had a wonderful time playing Tic Tac Toe after ages. More games like Ed, Edd n Eddy; Scissor, Paper, Stone; Clone a Doodle Doo and the like. Quotes and quizzes are also part of the infotainment offered here where one can rate others quotes and jokes.
You can choose from a variety of American, French, Italian, Pan-Asian and Continental cuisines.

MASH
CHENNAI !! Here's to my first restaurant review outside Karnataka and hoping for many more to come! :)
This cool hangout is across the Elliots' beach, a very beautiful place. A resto-cafe with a menu encompassing Crepes, Pastas, tempting desserts, steaks and the like. My friend took it upon her to click a picture of me while I was totally engrossed in the menu and wanted me to put it up and so here goes:

FROTH ON TOP
Nestled in a pretty busy street, an ancient styled home converted to a pub, called FROTH ON TOP is where I decided my next stop in Mangalore would be, and boy, am I glad to have been there. This is apparently owned by the same management that runs LIQUID LOUNGE, another famous hangout in Mangalore. Its got an indoor and outdoor section. Let's enter through the doorway right here and see what's past it..

PABBAS/IDEALS ICECREAM, Mangalore
I thought I'd blog about the oldest and favourite ice cream parlour in Mangalore : Pabbas..Ideals.. Both, being run by the same management. There's never a day when the place isn't packed with people. On weekends, you get a token just to get in.
Good news: they have a counter right outside where they provide take-aways.
Bad news: The take-aways aren't as fresh as the ones served at the table.
