INDIJOE SIZZLER
I dropped into Indijoe Sizzler for a late lunch one day.. Were offered some pretty good service and the place we were seated was pretty good.. We got one that didn't quite have a lot of people seated around us, which gave us our privacy to enjoy our food and have a good conversation to go along with..

The Contemporary Supernatural..
Ok, So I just watched the latest episode of The Vampire Diaries a few minutes ago and I am totally captivated by it all. The whole idea of supernatural beings existing amidst us is very intriguing. But Alas, it's all stemmed from a legend centuries ago! Yet one can't seem to lose themselves on this fascinating fantasy world. And it really does NOT help when the supernatural beings are depicted by total hotties! (aka Ian somerhalder and Paul Wesley from The Vampire Diaries, Robert Cullen and Taylor Lautner from the Twilight series, Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt from Interview with the Vampire, Eric Northman and Stephen Moyer from True Blood and the like). Ian Somerhalder sure does take the cake! He's just the absolute package. I CANNOT stop raving about him!
Apart from the dashing men chosen for the roles, there is the whole superhuman aspect to it all..Shape Shifters, Vampires, Werewolves, and Doppelgangers all provide for a very enthralling watch indeed! They can live forever (OK,so its with strings attached, but whatever, they live even after they are technically dead!), have enhanced senses, incredible strength and move at lightning speeds, get resurrected, to just name a few! Oh boy, and how could I not mention, the most appealing fantasy romance ever! :D LOL!

Morning Walk!
Yet another day begins and I wake in time to head to the park for my daily dose of morning walk.. So peaceful, breathing in the fresh air, listening to music and to just keep walking! Brisk walk, that is! Not so much of a crowd at the time I go. So while I was hooked on to the music, lost in thought, unaware of the world around me; a man in his mid-thirties or so, interrogates me out of nowhere! VERY unpleasant encounter! At first, I thought it was just another fellow-jogger making small talk TILL...he asked me for my phone number after getting away with my biodata. :| (I wana kick myself for having given it out!). Now I know what to do the next time ANY stranger asks anything at all! :|
Anyhow, forgetting the 'unpleasantries', I wait for tomorrow which would begin with another walk and hopefully, end with another blog entry..
So I took my cam out one day and thought I'd take some pics of the view. Here they are:

My first Blog post!
Alas, My blog is ready! :) After much ado and brainstorming, I've decided to inundate my blog with posts related to TV Shows, Photography, Relationships, Food Reviews and just about every little thought that keeps my mental wheels churning! :)
So what really flexes MY gray matter? Well, Facebook was a prime player when it came to that topic! But that's on hold for the time being. Just realized I spent WAY too much time on FB, that it turned into quite an addiction! Put in 4+ years of your life into it and you will know what I'm referring to here. NET equaled FB to me! Just had to log on to FB every waking hour of the day, be it the mobile or the laptop. Technology ensured being in constant touch even on the go. Soon, FB just became a huge part of my existence. Any new pictures taken would have to be posted, any new meeting with an old friend had to be made known to all, notifications had to be responded to, and all the changes that went on in my friends' lives had to be made known to me! It all came down to just ONE thing in the end: ATTENTION! Was that what I was turning to be? An Attention-Seeker? o.O Looked like that was what was happening to me whenever I was online, which happened to be for most of the day (and night)! Thus began the need to grow out of that addiction and utilize my time in a more fruitful manner.
So the first step towards that was to DEACTIVATE my FB..Atleast till I am able to bring that gnawing constant need to be on it, under control. Next, the time spent on TV Shows had to be curtailed and instead, focus had to be on brushing myself with whatever I'd once learnt in school so I could crack some B-school entrance exam. Ended up watching Vampire Diaries all the time while my FB was deactivated :P Learnt that it didn't really end up serving the purpose in the first place! :| All I was doing was Eating, Sleeping, Social Networking, chatting over the phone, watching TV; all of these, to a fault! Well, Its good to get out of a routine and in the beginning, its very enticing to just keep living this kind of life but then you reach a point where you just get sucked into the vortex. So I decided to put an end to this mundane existence of mine, included going for MORNING WALKS into my daily schedule, which actually helped in following the adage "Early to bed and Early to Rise". Last, I decided to start BLOGGING to pen down my thoughts instead of just spending my time over nothing really all that important (aka FACEBOOK and all mentioned above).
So here I am...Blogging about the foodophile that I am. And about the little things that intrigue me! :)
