TOUCHE DINER, Bangalore

First of its kind in India, this sexy new place in Bangalore is the place to be, if you are looking for some sleek, black decor and a new take on infotainment! A revolutionary concept indeed, with its touch screen menu that comprises much more than just food and drinks. My friend and I had a wonderful time playing Tic Tac Toe after ages. More games like Ed, Edd n Eddy; Scissor, Paper, Stone; Clone a Doodle Doo and the like. Quotes and quizzes are also part of the infotainment offered here where one can rate others quotes and jokes.
You can choose from a variety of American, French, Italian, Pan-Asian and Continental cuisines.

THE TOUCH SCREEN ON THE TABLE:

Now that you all know what I am talking abt, here are some more shots of the table top screen.

 And some more:

Wonderful concept indeed!

Appetisers: Nachos, Bacon, Pork ribs, Crumb fried chicken; they are all here!

INSALATA DI POLLO:

Mixed greens and grilled chicken breast with ranch dressing. This is just one helping shown in the above pic. Very good quantity and very saucy.

JAPANESE BEEF TERIYAKI:

Beef seasoned and marinated in the classic Japanese style teriyaki sauce and stir fried.
This dish was really good. Sesame coated and very well presented, definitely worth a try.

BACON LADEN POTATO SKINS:

Whole potatoes scooped out, deep fried and loaded with bacon, jalapenos, green onions and topped up with cheese. Served with guacomale and sour cream sauce.

Well, didn't get no gaucamole or sour cream sauce :/ Was served with a salsa dip instead. If only we had more of bacon and less of cheese, this dish would have gotten a really high rating!

Drinks: The drinks menu is just awesome. A very interesting mix of beverages: Alcoholic and non.

GREEN ELECTRICITEA:

Green tea mixed with energy drink, Tequila and Lemon Juice served with ice.

An absolute delight to drink, especially for those who love the taste of Red Bull minus the tanginess!

VODKA ANTIVIRUS:

Vodka mixed with cranberry and Litchi juice, generously spiced with crushed green chillies and topped with Tabasco sauce and crushed ice. This spicy cocktail is good to negate the strong alcohol smell in breath.

Boy, it's exactly like how it's described! So for those of you into spicy drinks, this one is for you!

Desserts: The dessert section offers some of the rarely found ones, so a plus 1 right there! :)

POMEGRANATE AND YOGURT:

Well, I cant complain about this dish.It was really good.Yoghurt stuffed with pomegranates.Yummmm indeed! I could make a suggestion for the management though, Try froyo instead of the regular yoghurt. Plus, Either increase the quantity for the rate you are offering for this or reduce the price a wee little, coz at the end of the day, its just yoghurt and pomegranate after all! 4 on 5.

BRANDY CHOCOLATE MOUSSE:

Presentation of this dessert is really good but wasn't that satisfied with the taste.Could have been more chocolatey for starters. The idea of strawberries and chocolate sauce around is a good one. 2.5 on 5.

'Interactive Group Buying' program is yet another innovative concept that this place as come up with. This means that you get real time updates on the screen about the drinks that are most ordered. You can also initiate a deal. As the no. of drinks increase, the prices drop. So it goes, leaving you with upto 80% off on your drinks . So if you want to treat your large group of friends, dont think twice, just head here; not only will you take your friends to what would be an amazing place with an amazing decor, you would also be able to get everything at a pretty decent rate.
Moreover, the service here is impeccable. Very fast and very helpful. Oh and the waiters confirm your orders with a Sumsung Galaxy tab! :)
Absolutely Touche-d indeed! ;)

On a scale of 5, I would give:

Ambience: 4.5
Service: 4.5
Food: 4
Drinks: 5
Money's worth: 3.5
Price Range: 1500 (Meal for 2)
